Revenge Evil with Good

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
II COR 10:6

Jesus knows the power of rejection. Having himself been rejected as a carpenter who took his time to produce a stunning result and the power to build foundation.

Later he was run off by the elites of the land; given no power to correct or exhort the people to whom were captive by religious zealots that were more interested in rules than in conduct of the heart. He said these words and mark them dear:

And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
Luke 20:17

Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Luke 20:18

The time is at hand where those willing to see Jesus at the cross as the rejected foundation, have a chance to be humble and repent, and those willing to refuse his humility will be crushed from on high and be ground into powder on your behalf, by the cap stone that falls for those who refused foundation first.

This is a season of vindication. The debts are paid by the one who paid your debts and is paid by the ones who don't settle debts. God will crush into powder the opposition of the Gospel.
